Spanish fans have a lot to look forward to with the good form of Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa, Lorenzo arrives with a one point advantage over teammate Valentino Rossi and a victory already on the board from the previous round in Japan.

After round 2 of the MotoGP Italy's Valentino Rossi is now certain that his Fiat Yamaha teammate Jorge Lorenzo has the potential to challenge for the MotoGP title in 2009. Valentino Rossi commented “I think that this championship will be very interesting, because we have four riders capable of trying to win the title.”

The charasmatic Italian appeared to have some time of problem that prevented him from catching backto his team mate, Rossi admitted later on that he had experienced difficulties on which Pedrosa attempted to capitalize.

“I didn’t feel confident with the bike at one point. It didn’t ride very well and I lost time with Lorenzo and Pedrosa. Fortunately in the last part of the race I could improve my pace and lines to take second.” said Rossi.
