Rossi last to brake Valentino Rossi is the last of the late brakers in the MotoGP session, according to Brembo who collated data reports
from all competitors at the San Marino Grand Prix.
The information was gathered from the ‘Quercia’,
the corner following the back straight, where racers reduce speed from an average of 170mph to 50mph in little over six seconds.

Randy de Puniet signed next season Randy de Puniet will race again next year with LCR Honda in the premier class for the third season in a row, Honda has
announced a renewal with the squad and manager Lucio Cecchinello for a fifth consecutive season.
Cecchinello
states, “We are very happy to work with Randy again next year. He still has a lot of potential and our aim was to continue
the project we started together in MotoGP in 2008. I am very confident about what we can achieve in 2010. We will work with
the same style and with the same determination to take a step forward in the quality of our organisation and our on-track
performances.”

Racing greats ride again at Phillip Island For the only time since the ‘Legends of MotoGP’ display, Troy Bayliss will unite with MotoGP champions Wayne Gardner
and Mick Doohan on the grid at Phillip Island. The threesome will ride demo laps of the 4.4km track amongst a massive crowd
on Saturday 17th October and Sunday 18th October.
Australian Grand Prix Corporation CEO, Drew Ward, stated
the inclusion of Bayliss finishes the ideal line-up of Aussie heros.
“It was Gardner, Doohan and more
recently Bayliss’ success that has helped to cement Australia’s reputation as one of the world’s
greatest motorcycling nations,” Ward says.

Aoyama testing Japanese competitor Shuhei Aoyama, a prior World Championship contendor and younger sibling of current 250cc rankings champion
Hiroshi Aoyama, underwent a short testing with the BQR squad on a Honda Moto2 motorbike at the Spanish circuit of Albacete
on Wednesday.
With the hope of preparing for the fourth CEV (Spanish National Championship) event of the season,
which will occur on the same track on 27th September, Aoyama applied himself to work at 11am, however could only lap 40 times
because of the wet-drying asphalt.
“I want to thank BQR for giving me this chance,” Aoyama states.
“I rode a Moto2 bike at Brno for the first time recently and this time it was more like a real test. We finished early
because of the rain and a technical problem but it wasn’t bad for the first proper test.”
Later it
was announced that Aoyama will race for BQR in the final four CEV events this season on the Moto2 bike, commencing with the
Albacete round.

De Angelis looking for ride next year Having San Carlo Honda Gresini already signing Marco Melandri and Marco Simoncelli for next year, Alex de Angelis and
Toni Elías are now currently available for next season, both are looking to confirm their careers as soon as possible.
De Angelis now places eighth in the rankings following 13 events of his second year in the premier class and following
his maiden MotoGP stage appearance at Indy, he actually was up to seventh spot until a costly crash at home in Misano.
That incident has not helped with finding a new place next year, however his fine form in the events leading up to
his home race gave out a good reminder to the remainder of his abilities.
“I’m trying to remain
in MotoGP, or if not then I will go to Superbikes,” De Angelis states “For the moment I’m in contact with
all the teams who have not officially finalised their rider line-ups for next season, so that means Scot Racing, Monster Yamaha
Tech 3 and Pramac Racing. My aim is to find the best team, without preferences, though obviously if I ride a Honda machine
I won’t be starting the learning process from scratch again as I’m accustomed to the bike.”
De
Angelis could find himself racing for a freshly formed MotoGP squad next year, he explains, “I’m also in contact
with a new team, FB Corse, who called me to see if I am available for next year, but we are still at a very early stage of
contact with each other.”
