Lorenzo's injury woes

Jorge Lorenzo undergoes further medical tests after returning from to Spain on Tuesday, his injuries from the Red Bull US Grand Prix last Saturday have now been re-examined.

 

A private clinic performed a CAT scan which confirmed Lorenzo has a small head fracture of the fourth metatarsal in his right foot, both ankles have contusions to the bones and his right shoulder has collarbone damage.

 

Lorenzo is expected to compete at the next round of Sachsenring, he will be required to rest up ahead of the race whilst enduring more painkiller injections. He is also being treated with physiotherapy and anti-inflammatory medication.
