The MotoGP will continue in southern Spain for round 3 of the 2009 World Championship.
Spanish fans have a
lot to look forward to with the good form of Jorge Lorenzo and Dani Pedrosa, Lorenzo arrives with a one point advantage over
teammate Valentino Rossi and a victory already on the board from the previous round in Japan.
Currently in second
position in the standings is reigning World Champion Valentino Rossi who has won five times in the premier class in Andalucia
and enjoys a level of popularity with the Spanish fans that rivals any of their local favorites. Valentino Rossia has never
gone more than three races into a season without picking up a victory, and with two gone already his hunger for the top of
the podium will be reaching breaking point
Australian Casey stoner will be looking to take first place in Spain after
battling mechanical problems in round 2.
