At 1530 CET today, Valentino Rossi was transferred from the Centro Traumatologico Ortopedico in Florence, Italy, he has been there recovering after surgery last week to heal his broken right leg.

Rossi was released by ambulance to a helicopter, and being flown to a hospital in Cattolica which is close to his home, he will then meet with doctors to go through the next phase of his recovery.
